Jonny Mendez is a highly relational and collaborative music composer based in Chicago who specializes in TV, commercial, and film scoring in a wide range of genres. His collaborations include creating music for Netflix, Discovery Channel, MTV, Red Bull, Citibank, and Target. He has also composed the score for the feature film The Shade Shepherd, now streaming on Apple TV and Amazon, and for Defy the Odds, winner of the Platinum Award for Best Microfilm at Independent Shorts Film Fest, and Best Microfilm at the IndieX Film Festival. In the social sector, Jonny scored a series of mini-documentaries for a non-profit event that raised $80 million dollars in a single weekend. Jonny is passionate about his craft and believes that  music is a tool to enhance the stories of others.
